Regional Financial Controller required for a highly successful IT software solutions and services provider to the retail motor industry, part of an international group. A CAAB qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or equivalent and ideally a graduate; good man-management skills are a "must have". You will have experience leading multi-site teams and be knowledgeable on US GAAP, SOX, MS Office and Hyperion. Ideally you will have a good background in accounting packages and databases. As Regional Financial Controller your responsibilities include directly responsibility for Finance, Reporting A/P, A/R, Sales / Revenue Administration in UK Automotive and UK International; supervision of the Financial Controller Commercial Systems; and leading local financial managers in Ireland and S Africa and supervising all related financial and G&A related activities (GL, A/P, A/R, reporting, budgeting, sales admin, contract mgt.).
In the role you will ensure proper financial handling of monthly closing, reporting, forecasting and analysis for the UK-region; co-ordinate reviews and operational efficiency measurements and programs; supervise the OP Plan / budget process and internal reviews with mgt. before submission and presentation of drafts to DSI; and supervise Q1 review process including submission and presentation.
As Regional Financial Controller you will ensure proper training of local finance managers and their staff; be responsible for SOX and key controls; represent finance in local mgt and DSI mgt meetings; participate in DSI related reviews, trainings and new initiatives; and support International HQ in analysis of results, forecasts and budgets and, where necessary, special training.
Salary is likely to be in the range £70,000 to £85,000 depending on experience. In addition there is a bonus scheme (typically c. 15%), and company car (£6k) and other benefits.
